1. Our Services
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC (“CZI,” “we,” “us”) provides the Meta website, as well as any other services that indicate they are covered by these Terms (those services collectively, the “Services” or “Meta”). CZI has a mission of curing, preventing or managing all diseases by the end of this century. Through our Services, we seek to enable biomedical researchers and the wider community (“you”) to better explore, discover, and follow developments in science. We analyze, connect, and cluster tens of millions of research outputs we receive from public sources and partners to build a living map of science called the “Knowledge Graph.” Meta uses the Knowledge Graph to help you create customized feeds tailored to your areas of interest. This feed-filtering process allows you to more easily stay on top of new research.
We have created a Knowledge Graph which connects concepts, Authors, and papers. Users can tap into this insight by making custom feeds in Meta that push relevant papers to you so you can stay on top of relevant research more easily.
Our Services are available to biomedical researchers and others who visit the Services (“Visitors”), and registered users who have access to a personalized experience and more features (“Users”). The Meta Knowledge Graph also includes information about the authors of publications (“Authors”).
We may change or discontinue any of our Services.
Users and Visitors use our Services to access useful and relevant publications.
We can change these terms from time to time. If you don’t accept the new terms, you’ll have to stop using our Services.
3. Registered Users
If you choose to become a User of the Services, you agree that you won’t provide any false information when you create an account and will keep your information up to date and accurate. As a User, you agree: (1) to choose a strong and secure password; (2) to keep your password secure and confidential; (3) not to transfer or share your account; and (4) to follow the law and these Terms. You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you report misuse of your account via email at email@example.com.
Registered Users must provide us information to create an account and are responsible for protecting their log-in credentials.
4. User Content
We understand that scientific research is a collaborative process, and we want to enable our Users to share content with us and with each other. You are fully responsible for the materials that you provide to us or share with others, including your descriptions of feeds that you’ve created and would like to share (“User Content”).
Don’t use our Services to harm others or do illegal acts.
You own the content you share on our Services, but when you post it to our Services you give us the right to use it in our Services. We can use your suggestions to make our Services better.

If you upload content to our Services, your content must not violate our rules.
